counting cards in blackjack?
This is for those who have played blackjack in a casino normally, and any card-counters. I learned to count cards with the system of high-lo, im going to a casino for my first time later this week to try it. My question is, I keep hearing they are putting the cards played in the batsmen, making card counting impossible, Is this true? and if so, where. I live in Canada so I do not know if they have the casinos here. Also advice for a first card-cons would be great.
It really depends on the casino. The rules vary From Casino to casino. This will affect the house edge. According to the respected website Wizard Odds There are over 3456 variants rule there. They even have a calculator to figure the house edge in the casino you visit. So, a job will be to determine the house advantage EXACT offered. Because without knowing that you are clearly only guess at any possible advantage you can get card counting. As the number of bridges are used and how often they shuffle, it will be another factor that you will need to investigate. Part of being a cons card is good to learn where the best opportunities. You may need to be patient enough and visit different casinos to find one that you think offers reasonable ratings. Because if you just enter a casino at random and try to start counting, without taking into account anything else you will almost certainly lose. Sadly the odds are against you. Counting cards is well known and understood by the casinos today. They will be well aware if they spread the games that are vulnerable to meters. The big problem is, according to information I read, a good counter ideal conditions will probably benefit less than 3% in the long term, with great variance. This allows you to spend considerable time, money and effort, with a return very thin. You had better learn poker because the casino does not care who wins, unless, over time and good players come to mind with a much better yield of 3 or 5%.
