Cut Card
If my visa card has been cut in half he still work?
I accidentally cut my visa card for half the new (Thought it was old) and taped back with a strip of Scotch tape. Does it still swpe if I use it until I can get my replacement card in the mail.? Thank you to everyone who gave me wrong answers. It worked as I think, and why should I go in prison for him lol ha ha it's my card that is funny!
If the tape has been cut, then no. Once the damaged its not good. Merchants can usually type in the numbers however. Therefore, any cutting of the card does not do much good when you attempt to destroy a card (you can dig through the garbage and still use the card, and they do). I always advise to burn off the numbers.
