In the book Fight Club - what happens at the end?
I just read the book - and I'm not sure what happened at the end ... It has a gun in his mouth on top of the building, blowing from her cheek ... And is he dead? Or does he end up in a mental institution? I lean toward this last, because he brings a tray of drugs - and he thinks that they psych doctors are God ... but I'm looking for confirmation. That do you think? Thank you!
Yeah, I think you said just about everything right (though with Palahniuk's writing style) it is not so easy to be sure! The "end" was omitted from the film, I suppose if it had much of a "happy" (if one can call it that) of late. BTW, I highly recommend reading other novels by Palahniuk's ... intense!
