Table Folding
Identify folding table?
We just inherited this folding table and wondering 1) what style is it? and 2) Who could have done. It is mass produced, not handmade. The only identification it is "2405 COOMBF ink-stamped by 1" high letters on the underside environment. I checked with the original owners who remember now something of its origin, which jives with what you said. I still hope someone may know what the code printed on the bottom of the table means.
I am not an expert in antiquities. I see this as simply a proposal of my frequent hunting in antique shops as a customer. It is certainly known as a "gate leg table. I think his leg design is that it is from the early 20th century, factory-made, from Great Britain.
