Can anyone give me advice on the Old eMachines Laptop Really?
I know it's more than just dirt, but it works, and I like old computers. It has Windows 98 Second Edition. I use it now. I've never seen Windows 98 to yesterday! I'm used to Vista.My other "old" laptop with Windows 95. Anyway NumberOne question: The screen work. It is a bit dark, but still very visisble. The bottom half of the screen is flawless. The upper half is the problem. There Vertical lines acroos the entire width. I currently have my spare eMachines widescreen connected. But it is not portable! Number two: I am connected to the Internet via a USB cable.I wonder if I can get a PCMCIA wireless card for this? It has two slots. I am trying to find what Maximum capacity is about it, because I would install a larger hard drive, and as much RAM as it can handle. Question 1: each time the screen is dark or black, it is the UPS is involved.
