For a cheap experiance in Las Vegas, would Excalibur or Circus Circus is a better deal?
My family is planning a trip Las Vegas in early August. There will be 4 adults, a teenager, and more teens. We are looking for cheap places to stay on the strip that theming, and we have reduced to Circus Circus and Excalibur. Circus Circus has all the circus for free, and that is Adventuredome attached, but Excalibur is closer to other hotels on the Strip. (We plan to visit and walk all the other casinos) Your opinions?
If you plan to visit other casinos, I'd go with Excalibur. It is connected to Mandalay Bay and Luxor by monorail. There are also passages in New York MGM, and Tropicana. Circus Circus is away (at the northern end of the tape measure). Both Excalibur and Circus Circus have below average rooms and bad cooking. But this is Las Vegas ... you get what you pay for. Although both Circus Circus and Excalibur have strong attractions for young children, Excalibur better suited to adolescents because of the location. motion simulators Luxor IMAX giant Gameworks arcade, and mountains of New York rolls are excellent nearby. Adventuredome reality is far more discreet than they let on. You will not be missing much.
