Part 35 - Italian cuisine - how much to order?
I'm hosting a birthday party for my fiance. We expect 35 for some, and perhaps 5 more arrivals last minute. I order from a local Italian restaurant, but I am confused about the quantity. I intend to order a salad with chicken parm parm meatballs cooked ziti eggplant antipasto They have small and large. Small feeds 8-10, has high 18-22. I do not want an extra considerable remains, as happened in the past. In addition, we have a vegetable platter, chips, salsa and much to drink. Opinoins this size would be great!
You're talking about 40 people, how many men = the order quantity. Are they eating? if so, and over half are for men 2 chicken parm, baked ziti 2, 2 meatballs, 1 eggplant more men do not like him, 2 and 2 Antipasto salads for women. Do not worry about leftovers, give them dog bags to go or, better yet, you can freeze everything but the salad and antipasto. Regarding the vegetable platter, thats a majority of women do flat for 2, each of the foods rich men should be sufficient - usually better to have more than not having enough to eat --- the happy love of italian .............
