How often should I feed my fish tetra?
I have about 8 small Tetra fish (zebra danios, neon tetras, etc.). I I always fed once a day (around 5 o'clock pm), but the bag Petsmart they have put some of my new fish in said feed twice a day. Too, What are some of the best things to feed them?
According to About.com: "In nature fish eat when they are hungry and food is available. Pellets of dry food is an interesting change for fish, although you must ensure that your fish can actually swollow the pellet. I use my hand to crush fish pellets into small pieces when I buy the pellets are too large. They say that the brine shrimp is good for your fish with different types of algae and worms. These come fresh or frozen. Fresh May contain more nutrients ... but frozen is much more convenient. I only feedings of frozen foods. So I always do a partial change of water too.
