I was wondering how many triangles it took to cover this sphere.

Its called "spaceship Earth" its a ride that teaches the history of communication around the globe. In theory, it should be 11,520 to cover the entire surface but there are actually only 11,324 cuz there are no triangles where there is media and doors.
